CE Ranch includes 5,000 acres that are dedicated to cattle management and hay production. Since Copano took over the ranch, it has expanded the cattle herd size, replaced and improved perimeter fencing, and continued to harvest hay fields. Cattle round ups are held twice a year. As of March 2022 there are 330 cows, 18 bulls, 6 heifers and 188 calves.
